I'm dying a slow and agonizing death without the use of my scanner. My scanner and I had become . . . ahem . . . CLOSE.
And in the week since I've been deprived of my computer, and therefore without a scanner to scan on, I have acquired several new/old magazines that are simply screaming for their chance to appear on Small Works. It's deafening.
So I guess this is as good a time as any to take a little vacation. (In fact, I just happen to have a plane ticket to sunnier climes for a flight this very afternoon!)
I'm going to bake my bones in the St. George sunshine for a week (and eat a few regional delicacies while I'm there, of course!) Hopefully my fingers and toes will have thawed by the time I return.
And hopefully HP will have seen fit to build me a new computer that works, as well.
Small Works will return on February 11, and I hope you'll be here when I get back!
Because I could really use some help hauling everything down to my **new STUDIO** which I will begin setting up right after my vacation.
So much goodness in one lifetime!
Yippee!

Safe trip Susan, and good luck with the HP situation...
I'm soooooooooooooo jealous - happy sun & heat seeking...the last time I saw the sun it was headed west! And, a very belated note on the lefty blog, it seems that throughout my career I have surrounded myself with lefties, last summer we all noted that every employee I hired was a lefty, all but me...I think I'm a closet lefty, that or all lefties are the best workers around! Safe travels and love to you and yours.
Have a warm & delicious vacation! Hope the new HP is there to welcome you home next week. Happy flying :>
Have a fabulous trip and warm up! Oh and congrats on milestone! I will admit to reading every post and laughing at just about every single one of them. I am always entertained.
So jealous. I want to be in St. George, too!
But, at least now you can celebrate your 204th post (205th, now!) with a Twenty-Five Main Cupcake. Mmm...I'll definitely think of YOU while you eat one ;o) Hope the trip is super fun! (Give my nieces and nephews lots of hugs for me!)
Enjoy your trip! Being someplace warm right now sounds delightful (as I sit here huddled under a blanket).
Have fun Susan, and BE WARM - I'll be here shivering when you get back!
I had so much fun with you. I wish we could have lunch every week like you do with your daughter(s). Sorry that there was very little bone baking that happened but I guess rain is better than snow! Love you and wish I could help you move into your new studio. You know I would!
