Sunday Scribble.

Regret

I have no pockets
should have thought of that
when choosing what I would wear
should have known there might be
something to pick up, keep
take home, a souvenir
to remind me where I went
what I saw and how I felt
while you were here

VERY much enjoyed your "Sunday Scribble." You certainly defined REGRET. It's always nice to have SOMETHING to prove to ourselves the event really happened and to remind us....

Pockets are essential.

If this is a "scribble," I'd like to see your finest handwriting. Beautiful and thought-provoking.

I really like this.

It's like we always look back to what we DIDN'T do, rather than what we really enjoyed. You've written that inner conflict so perfectly!

A lovely sad sentiment nicely written, and now those chairs remind me of all the people we've lost. My Magpie this week is Goldilocks

I so agree about the pockets. Men don't know how lucky they are to have them always there in trousers!!!
