You're entitled, but for those of us who did not graduate with high-powered degrees this week . . . we still have some thinking to do.

You know right now I'm working on an idea I had - figure out how to do hairpin lace. Looks easy.
It is but tedious. Now my mind is having other ideas.
I should have added that bit of info -- the degree is a Master of Environmental Law Policy. Any job leads out there??!!

errr, that lace looks like (expletive here). Now my idea is to put it in the washer and felt the (expletive here) out of it.
When my mother in law lived in England she got into making bobbin lace (I think that's what it's called) which appeared to me to be insanity -- and if she struggled with it, it can't be done, because everything she touches is gold. But I think you're on the right track because my motto is always "when all else fails, felt it!"
Thanks for the recommendation for the job search, VO -- when Chels went for the degree we thought it was going to be a hot field, but it appears that all hot fields have cooled for the time being. Hopefully she'll find something great before those student loan payments kick in . . .
Hopefully everyone will stop freaking out about the economy (looks at self) and things will open up again. I'm keeping fingers crossed for your daughter.
Bobbin lace! OMG, I saw some bobbin lace and it gave me an instant headache just looking at it. Hairpin lace is much easier (but I apparently don't have the knack). Read: Sloppy.
