Sunday Scribble 2.0

Goodbye

you go this way, I'll go that
your way, mine
but if --  just if
we keep walking won't we
always come together
this thing that doubles
back on itself, our spiral
slowly unspooled, curling
toward one place
a knot pulled tighter until

there are no loose ends at all
hello

-- smh

How can you not love that photo! Thanks to Tess at Magpie Tales.

Or just go find someone to really kiss.
Yeah, that's good too....

Happy Sunday!

Love the image and your words...curling up inside your words :)

Love the way you made this warm and wooly.

I like how your verse starts with a goodbye and ends with a hello. With a spiral in the middle.

I'd go kiss DH right now but he's sleeping off Sunday dinner. Thomas is too fuzzy. Guess I'll wait a while....

I like where you take me with this: A Doris Day/Rock Hudson/James Garner movie with a happy ending!

kinda like infinity we just loop around each other...really like the line on a knot pulled tight leaving no loose ends...
